Fall, 2001: The UNO Center for Economic Education staff is expanding the curriculum available on the website so that our Ukrainian partners will be able to access more materials to study market economics and civics education, and to share lessons with their colleagues in the Ukraine. This is the prototype of that webpage. Lessons under consideration include these from National Council on Economic Education (NCEE): "Goals of an Economic System,"Characteristics of a Market Economy," Role of Property Rights," and "Economic Functions of Government." These are also available in the Ukrainian language. Until the lessons are ready, please enjoy some pictures of our activities with Ukrainian teachers.

Spring, 2001: Robert Pustoviyt and Grigoriy Zaspa--both faculty members at the Polytechnic Institute. Primary support for the Ukrainians visit to the US was provided by the UNO Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. A portion of the costs were covered by the UNO Center and by International Studies and Programs. Robert and Grigoriy's visit to our campus to study technology will help us make the connections to the Ukrainian teachers using appropriate technology. ![]()
