For several years, the University of Nebraska Omaha Center for Economic Education and Center for International Studies have conducted programs supported by the Partners in Education.
These programs sponsored visits by civics teachers from the Ukraine, who come to the USA for several weeks to learn how civics and economics are taught. In these web pages are documented some of the programs and fun we've had with these groups of wonderful teachers.
PIE is administered by American Councils for International Education (ACTR/ACCELS) with funding by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United State Department of State Office of Global Educational Programs, Teacher Exchange Branch.
